John Lair is a commercial photographer and director based in Miami Beach. For more than 30 years John and his wife Debra (a stylist) have enjoyed creating imagery for a variety of national and international clients.

Many of their shoots involve both stills and video. A recent project John directed won a gold Telly award. 

Although he’s known for lifestyle, because of his range is asked to incorporate an occasional tabletop, architectural, or aerial scene into an assignment. 

Most of their clients are in the genres of tourism, resort, food/beverage, tech and health care.

John Lair is a Miami lifestyle photographer and DP whose assignments are almost as diverse as the city itself. He recently shot a campaign for a resort in the Cayman Islands, an App start-up in Seattle, a Japanese bank, and a fashion designer from El Salvador.

Other assignments have included lifestyle and aerials of resorts in the Bahamas, creating imagery for venture capital firms in Silicon Valley, and a campaign for Kentucky Tourism.

Although many of their projects involve travel, John and his wife Debra, a stylist, have been based out of Miami Beach since 2002 - not only for the great weather and locations, but also for the depth of production resources and talent. They are known for a finely tuned production experience that allows creatives and clients the freedom to do what they do best on set.
