Marco was born in La Spezia, Italy. He comes from a family of salon hairdressers stretching back generations. From growing up in this environment he soon realised that this was his passion and he enrolled in UNFAS Italy, international hairdressing college. Throughout college he trained as a colour technician at L’OREAL in Paris. On receiving his qualifications, he returned to Milan and worked for a celebrity hair stylist, Rolando. After gaining experience here he opened his own salon in Tuscany at the age of nineteen, which soon became a fast growing business with a large reputable clientele. Marco started makeup to expand his skill sets.

Since then, he spent ten years in London, then Milan and finally decided to be based in London where he works for the biggest names of fashion industry. His hair creations can be seen at the fashion weeks in New York, Paris, Milan and London.
