Munich-based photographer Enno Kapitza is in the mountains almost every season. The Alps are more or less on his doorstep, but he's also drawn to more distant realms like the Himalayas, Tien Shan, or the Caucasus.

His camera is almost always with him, both professionally and privately. This has allowed him to tap into another passion in addition to his large client base in corporate and editorial photography. His photos of mountains, alpine landscapes, and the people who live in them or simply visit them reflect his enthusiasm for an inexhaustible, unique world.

Whether famous or unknown, Enno Kapitza’s portraits aim to capture the unique essence of each individual. After a photo shoot, he often hears that his subjects felt completely at ease and natural in front of his camera.

Enno Kapitza has stood for portrait and documentary photography at the highest level for many years. His range of customers from the corporate and editorial world is well-known and international. He is extremely experienced in traveling thanks to his numerous projects and moves confidently and relaxed at all levels of society as well as in the mountains.

He lives near Munich with his wife and colleague Ulrike Froemel, with whom he has two adult children. He tries to visit his second hometown of Tokyo, where he spent several years of his childhood, as often as possible, both professionally and privately.

In addition to his commissioned work, he regularly publishes photo books, photographs freelance projects and pursues his passion for the mountains in all seasons.
