Jörg's great passion is storytelling. He has a clear idea in his head and tries to get as close as possible to this vision during the photo production. He loves to experiment. He tells stories and stages them with his own means - set, light, perspectives and image composition. He started his career as an assistant director in film. In order to put his visions in the perfect light, he became a self-taught still life photographer. After two decades as a professional photographer, Jörg Schieferecke now works in his own studio in southern Germany, where he has settled with his family. As a photographer, DOP and director, he now looks after national and international clients from the fashion, lingerie, advertising and still life sectors.
