Peter Bak has been a Reportage and Portrait photographer for over two and-a-half decades. He happily shoots on location or from his 200m² studio.

Peter spends his time between editorial shoots and his portrait series. Although he prefers natural light, he is also very comfortable working in flash photography and is not afraid of a dramatically lit editorial shoot.

Peter's style is appreciated for the easy-going attitude. When not shooting professionally, he spends his time travelling and working on his personal portrait series. He prefers to work in a documentary style, enabling him to get closer to a person.

After his creative teenage years, Jens van der Velde received his degree in Economics and started working and travelling around the world for over a year. He went completely bankrupt by buying a semi-pro camera, however this turned out to be a life-changing choice.

Photography pulled on him harder than launching a career in international business, and this is what he had been working on since his backpacking adventure. He moved close to Amsterdam and has since concentrated on photography and film in music, fashion and portraiture.

The team also completed a lovely LaPlace tea and chocolate range for Jumbo supermarket, while HOOP breweries asked the studio to shoot their new Queen Bee beer. Isn’t she a beauty? She deserved some great shots.

The new high-speed flash generators and sound laser triggers did the job in capturing dusty and splashy spuds for outdoor banner prints. Some clean-up for the aquarium was required, so a bit of Glassex jumping into the frame. Splashy, isn’t it?

New Videos for Albert Heijn with the motion-control rig completed the Autumn-feeling. All studio assets were involved, including props, styling and in-house backdrop artist.
