Bastiani Photographe Montreal

"Being born in Sorel, growing up in Granby, having an Indian first name and an Italian last name, this doesn’t automatically create a complicated girl! A young woman with a wondering smile, she’s dragged her backpack and worn-out Converse from Paris to Bali, making a stop at Machu Picchu, and she’s not ready to slow down; travelling is literally tattooed on her skin.

Her idea of a perfect afternoon? Sipping a latte and listening to AC/DC while adding pins on Pinterest, where she has over 170,000 followers.

Savitri is still a five-year-old little girl in the body of an accomplished photographer. Her brain is always on spin cycle and whites and colours are never separated, especially when she’s due for a load of new ideas. Her flaws? Stubborn, anti conformist and a dreamer... but after all, isn’t perfection slightly boring?"

Matthew Johnson Austin

"I grew up in Oregon with posters of Steve Prefontaine and Jerry Garcia on my bedroom wall. As soon as I got my driver's license I was packing up the Subaru station wagon every weekend with camping and fly fishing gear, exploring the mountains and deserts around the Pacific NW.

While at the University of South Florida I was lucky enough to compete in a couple NCAA championships as a distance runner before graduating with a journalism degree and getting my first job shooting for the Tampa Bay Rays MLB team.

I eventually decided to pursue my passion for fly fishing full-time, and moved to Key West where I started a charter fishing business. For the next 10 or so years I was a year-round fly fishing guide splitting my time between the Florida Keys, SW Alaska and the Yellowstone area.

Photography eventually started calling me back though, so I settled in Austin, Texas where I have been working as an editorial and commercial photographer and working on becoming a real-deal Texan ever since. Unless, that is, I'm with my family at our cabin along the Blackfoot River east of Missoula, Montana where you'll find me much of the summer."
