Originally from the US, Gina is now based in Lisbon, Portugal, where she works as a photographer and writer.

She specialises in travel, food, and lifestyle photography, and has led projects with leading brands and hotels all around the world over the last 10 years.

Storytelling is embedded in Gina's photography. With an emphasis on light and color, each of her images elicits a set of emotions within viewers while transporting them to a specific place and time.

Passionate about capturing the essence of places and their people, Gina takes a documentary-style approach to tell the unique narrative of brands and destinations.

The Goethe-Institut, the Federal Republic of Germany’s cultural institute, has exceptional locations to offer. In Lisbon, Portugal, it occupies the premises of the former Valmor palace in Campo dos Mártires da Pátria. With a magnificent garden, a large auditorium, a renovated library, a café with terrace and several classrooms, it is a multifaceted space, which hosts concerts, film sessions, debates, literary sessions and workshops as well as film and photography shoots, and is well worth discovering.

It includes a breathtaking garden that stands out, among other aspects, for an imposing centenary dragon tree. With plants originating from Asia, Africa and South America, mixed with native vegetation, it is a true oasis in the centre of Lisbon. In summer, there is also a terrace here with varied food and some German specialities. Its various corners make possible not only a relaxed encounter with nature, but also the holding of various cultural events, such as concerts, open-air cinema sessions, parties and literary sessions.

It also holds a beautiful auditorium, which has been the perfect place to showcase German culture for 60 years. With a capacity of 350 people standing and 130 sitting, it holds a stage, a Steinway & Sons grand piano, tables for workshops, a projector and screen for cinema sessions and two simultaneous translation booths. The auditorium hosts various types of events such as conferences, debates, workshops, concerts and music and theatre shows, with the possibility of integrating streaming and simultaneous translation.

Gonçalo Barriga is a portrait, lifestyle and sports photographer based in sunny Lisbon, Portugal.

His images feature people in the broad sense of the word, with a bias towards athletes and people with an active lifestyle, just like him. The strong and dynamic aesthetics of his photography often shows up in his portraiture and lifestyle work also.

He believes that the process matters and is often reflected in the final result — working alongside like minded people on something you are passionate about is a sure recipe for success.

Many of his clients come from the world of sports and fitness (Red Bull, Ironman, Crossfit), and he is also kept busy shooting corporate portraits and commercial lifestyle imagery for brands.

"And here we are: almost 15 years creating films and making scenes. Always fighting to create new stories and produce films.

These past year was the ultimate test for our ecosystem. We immersed in creative storms and found ways to get where we wanted to be. Aiming for the future while growing as a production and service company. We upgraded the office, restructured the team, invested in people and equipment, more isles for editing purposes - and it paid off. We edited a lot of content for foreign clients, shot several music videos and added more muscle to our studio capabilities.

Every day we get to the office it’s always a fresh start: writing, directing, creating, shooting and producing for advertising, brand content, corporate and institutional films, renting our studio and equipment, opening our brains for new business ideas and focus on our goal.
