Scott Grummett

Scott Grummett is a food photographer and director with a broad range of work beyond the traditional tabletop.
His recent work has seen him creating large scale concepts for Alpro. Building sets, lighting rooms and casting and directing actors in the space he has led a creative campaign that sees food and drink at the heart of a larger scene.
Earlier this year, he was in Istanbul shooting a large scale campaign for Flora and their various sister brands, like Rama. The shoot required detailed motion control shots showcasing the plant butter looking just as good as the real thing. It was a huge matrix of different packs, recipes and ingredients for different markets and cultures that had to fit seamlessly whilst still looking delicious.
He's also been working in McDonald's in the UK and Germany, making the food look less plastic and more lip smacking delicious.

He has had the pleasure of shooting ‘Chocolate recipes throughout the day’, his first book commission for the chocolatier Knoops, of course consuming far too much chocolate in the process.

Most recently completing a project for British Airways' Highlife Magazine - shown in this Spotlight.
Steve co-founded the quarterly food culture magazine Root+Bone, which explores London’s food and drink culture, he is a contributing editor.
Steve’s latest venture is a collaboration between his 40FT Brewery company and Acme Fire Cult alongside renowned chefs Andrew Clarke and Daniel Watkins can be found in Dalston.
