• The 58th Solothurn Film Festival will take place from January 18th to 25th. For more than five decades, this festival has presented a selection of Swiss films every January.
• Josef Koudelka - Ikonar. Archival Constellations: Until 29th January at Photo Elysee, Lausanne. This is the first exhibition in Switzerland since 1977 devoted exclusively to the work of Josef Koudelka. The exhibition is conceived as a selective and condensed retrospective.
• Queens of their Discipline – Posters by Women Designers. This exhibition tells the story of the poster, using exclusively reprints of works by international women designers. These include well-known figures like Irma Boom or Lora Lamm, as well as unknown ones who are still waiting to be discovered. At the Museum für Gestaltung Zürich.

Born 1967 in Engelberg, Switzerland, he lives in Basel and Zurich. Daniel has published two books of photography, which were billed as ''the most beautiful Swiss books''.

Latest projects: Engergiendienst employer branding – photo and film, FHNW Life Sciences, Kunstmuseum Basel – photo and film, Studio Sommer – Paris, Schweizer Geschätsberichte Rating broschure for Noir Associates, Union Bancaire Privée, UBP SA, a photo and film advertising campaign for Coop. He has also worked on film projects for BLKB Health Management - LO Lombard Odie - and he just produced the short movie 'Sauvage' in the south of France – to be released in the summer 2023.

An extremely intensive and varied year is already coming to an end. The scouting duo was constantly on the move again this year and is grateful to be able to explore beautiful Switzerland with its architecture, endless passes, mountains and valleys, lakes and rivers, towns and villages for various customers and to learn about its facets to be surprised again and again.

At the end of the year, the location agency is looking forward to all the countless new indoor and outdoor locations for the archive, to all the new projects that are already being planned for the coming months.

Claudia Link‘s work includes recipe photography and new image styles for food and beverages. Focusing primarily on travel, portrait and lifestyle photography, she has a graphic, clean look to her images that is simultaneously enriched and transformed by a subtle artistic influence.

Along with an experienced team of food stylists and other professionals, Claudia is known for her clear vision and clean style of photography. She is based near Basel in a spacious studio with a fully equipped kitchen for large food productions, from where she creates unique visual works together with internationally renowned food stylists, hair and makeup artists.

In addition to commissioned work, Claudia also focuses heavily on her own projects. In them she tries to visualise her style even more. She loves meeting people and working in a big team.

A current project is the recently published cookbook 'GUET'. Claudia has been working intensively on it with two colleagues for the last two years.

Thomas Baumann is a corporate, advertising  and editorial photographer based in Switzerland. He's known for his reliability and efficiency as for his improvisational and organizational skills to get the best out of the shoot in a given budget. Being extremely passionate about photographing people, he most loves to develop staging ideas together with his clients to tell their story visually compelling. Recently he worked quite often with professional worldclass athletes and was stunned by their precense and ability to stay focused.

In the world of photography, there are many specialised fields. One of these, which most people overlook, is food photography. Fabian Häfeli (37) has a special focus on this field.

Fabian started his own brand, Fabian Häfeli Fotografie, in 2007, not knowing then where the journey would take him. Now, with his studio well established in Zurich, he has gained a wide range of clients to date based mainly in Switzerland, such as Gate Group Holding, Maison Manesse, Jelmoli, The Dolder Grand, among others.

Häfeli worked with The Dolder Grand in a recent project for the gourmet festival The Epicure by Heiko Nieder. The concept itself was inspired by Häfeli’s black-and-white series from 2013, which creative director Charles Blunier intended to revive.

Another recent project is the ALDI grilling campaign, presenting Häfeli’s work this summer on posters, banners and in magazines across Switzerland.
