"Over the past few months, I’ve been traveling across the country for a wide range of photography assignments.
In Reston, Virginia, I photographed both portraits and machinery for Vantage Data Centers.
Back in Arizona, I shot a “day in the life” of a dermatologist, as well as a portrait of the head of IT for Mesa, AZ for a tech magazine. I also headed to Florida for an avionics company shoot.
Earlier this year, I photographed the cover for the Top Docs issue of Phoenix Magazine—a project I’ve been proud to shoot for 15 consecutive years."

Steve Jones Photo

This past quarter location photographer Steve Jones continued doing documentation in the art world on an eight-day shoot in Los Angeles for NYC artist Derek Fordjour’s “Nightsong” solo exhibition. Arriving in advance of the opening, he captured stills of the installation, performance rehearsals and invitation-only opening one night and the public opening the next.
Representing his diverse skillset, he also covered the Southern Heritage Classic football game which is a culmination of a week-long celebration for Historic Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) which draws huge crowds for entertainment, tailgating and the football game itself in Memphis, TN.
Other photos here show a steel mill in Indiana, an advertising shot for the Indie Film Festival, Memphis’ famous Beale Street featuring a vintage Cadillac, as well as rice and sorghum harvesting and an air-conditioning factory in Tennessee.
