Anatol Gottfried
Germany - Spain - South Africa
In a field where automotive photography often feels predictable, Anatol Gottfried takes the scenic detour. Splitting his time between Berlin, Barcelona, and Cape Town, he approaches each project as a storyteller—capturing not just machines, but the emotions, places, and personalities that bring them to life.
His latest series brings this vision to the Côte d’Azur, where the Alpine A290 GT, crowned Car of the Year 2025, steals the spotlight along the sunlit coastline. More than a showcase of design and engineering, the series becomes a dialogue between car and character—anchored by the presence of Nick Harwart, whose energy amplifies the playful spirit of this expressive French beast—further seamlessly executed in post-production by POP.Studios.
Anatol’s imagery is defined by contrasts: bold yet meticulous, dynamic yet composed. Every frame is cinematic; polished, yet still pulsing with spontaneity. By weaving lifestyle, design, and atmosphere into the automotive narrative, he invites viewers to see mobility in unexpected ways—charged with motion, mood, and meaning.
Clients turn to Anatol not only for imagery, but for the narratives his lens creates around mobility and design. Always open to new challenges, Anatol is available for productions worldwide.

Jason Knott
London
"On a remote plateau in China lives a magical man who builds even more magical kites. So, to shoot a campaign for the Land Rover Discovery Sport, I put him at the heart of a magical story. A young boy wants a magical kite, so he and his father head to China to scale the plateau and find the master.
The boy is now grown up and a father himself. He wants to give his own son the same incredible adventure. At the stroke of dawn, they leave the city and head off to find the kite maker again.
And there he is. Still on the plateau. And at the peak of his craft.
A storytelling project with scores of stories in one. People, travel, mystery, unknown cultures and a car journey of a lifetime.
Magical heaven on a plateau."

Michael Matsil
Landscape, Lifestyle & Industrial Photographers
“As a photographer who considers ‘place’ and ‘context’ as the principle motivators of their work, I make 'landscapes' as a visual and personal means of understanding the nature of where I am.
This is important to my clients who use interpretive imagery to express the intangible aspects of their corporate image, brand and mission.
As with all of my photography, the interpretive process begins by gathering within the camera frame the specific nature of colour, materiality and atmosphere. That’s what I offer my clients: honesty, clarity and meaning.”
