This Showcase features the latest campaign of Barcelona-based still life photographer Kunal Rajput.

“This five-day liquid shoot came with a unique challenge and an interesting set build: capturing the product underwater, surrounded by the cichlids (an exotic fish, sourced from Iceland for this campaign), to create a deep blue ocean look with sunlight beaming through—all in real time!

Typically, for commercial campaigns, we create 1-2 highly detailed product photos a day, often shooting in plates (composites) to showcase the product in its best light. But this project took a different approach. We aimed to capture everything in a single, in-camera shot by building an underwater set in real time—no composites, staying true to life!

To enhance realism, the bottle was shot underwater in a vertical custom-built glass tank, creating photos in both 4:5 and 9:16 aspect ratios for this digital campaign - straight in camera. I opted for continuous lighting over flash, mimicking how our eyes perceive sunlight in the real world. We also chose not to retouch certain imperfections on the product to maintain its authenticity."

Julio Bárcena collaborates with brands, agencies, and studios to showcase their products, ideas, and unique worlds in a creative and original way.

His distinctive style, characterised by unpredictable framing and the use of light, shadow, and vibrant colours, ensures he and his clients stand out immediately. He has also incorporated video as a new element into his work.

Based in Spain, Julio Bárcena is a creative photographer available internationally for commercial and editorial projects.

Pablo Nordea is a Spain-based photographer, director, and DP specialising in lifestyle, advertising, and sports, with more than 10 years of experience in the industry. His latest productions have taken him to Barcelona, Madrid, the Balearic Islands, and Seville.

Some recent clients include brands such as Voltaren, where he was commissioned as photographer for its global campaign; Nike, as a DP for a new running app; Carlsberg, as director, DP, and photographer for the social media campaign for the brand's new 0.0 alcohol beer; and BioTechUSA, as a DP.

As summer winds down in the northern hemisphere, photographer Anatol Gottfried unveils some stunning new photo series. Operating between Barcelona and Berlin, Anatol focuses on lifestyle and people photography. With a strong foothold in the advertising industry, he is known for his distinctive, elegant approach, emphasising movement and dynamism. Attributes which are very well presented in the project realised together with Nike starring athlete Luis Hernandez.

For a recent Jack&Coke campaign, Anatol traveled to Madrid, teaming up with Hogarth to bring an authentic concert vibe and festival atmosphere to life. The setting was designed to evoke the electric ambiance of a music festival—complete with vibrant lighting, dynamic compositions, and an immersive party mood. Every shot aimed to reflect the spontaneous, carefree spirit of a group of friends on a night out with Jack&Coke, blending the raw, unfiltered emotions of a live performance with a sleek, polished aesthetic.

While Marc has integrated AI tools into his daily workflow, notably Midjourney, it is his project, Carpocalypse, that fuels his newfound wellspring of inspiration. His distinctive visual universe revolves around three core themes: automotive, science fiction, and dystopia. Here, he diverges from the realms of advertising and art direction, channeling his creativity into the realms of concept art and cinematography.
