Lorentz Gullachsen London advertising photographers

A few more Air Miles have been collected by Lorentz Gullachsen following a recent project that took the photographer to New Zealand to shoot a campaign for O2 Mobile with Archibald Ingall Stretton, London.

Other work has included a Caterpillar campaign shot in Tuscany for Y&R, Geneva, and an editorial for 'The Rotarian' shot at Ironbridge in Shropshire.

Lorentz is currently shooting in Spain and will return to the UK to shoot in Birmingham.

The Pub Studio London rental studios photo & film

The Pub Studio is a beautiful converted Victorian pub. Set on a quiet street in Battersea, south London, it makes the ideal location for both film and still shoots.

Features include a 1500 square foot shooting area with wooden floorboards, diffused south facing windows for daylight or full blackout, a fully equipped shoot-in kitchen, make-up and changing area, and many period features which make it great for use either as a location or studio. The studio also has a comfy client area with attractive sofas and a working open fireplace.

The studio is frequently used for room sets and has a very easy load in straight from the street, with a metre-wide door providing immediate access.

The AOP London photo events

The AOP Photographers Awards will take place on the evening of Tuesday 7th April, at the Sadlers Wells Theatre in London.

The event is the highlight of the photographic calendar, providing the only chance to see all the selected images in one place and where the much anticipated 'AOP Photographer of the Year' is announced.

The ticket price for the AOP Photographers Awards includes the drinks reception, the exhibition, the Awards presentation and a copy of the 2009 Photographers Awards Book. There is a special deal this year whereby for every five tickets bought, a sixth is offered free.

The Photographers' Gallery London photo events

Exhibition at Liberty (London), 2nd February - 8th March 2009.

A celebration of the recent relocation of The Photographers' Gallery's to the Soho neighbourhood has resulted in a collaboration with Liberty, a store synonymous with style. 'British Landscape Photography' shows the work of eleven contemporary artists represented by Print Sales at The Photographers' Gallery.

Photographers featured include Martin Cole, Ernst Fischer, Stephen Gill, Kevin Griffin, Mischa Haller, Nicholas Hughes, Chrystel Lebas, Mike Perry, Jem Southam, Stephen Vaughan and Mick Williamson.

Landscape has provided inspiration for all these artists, yet they have each approached the subject with a unique and individual vision that results in a diverse look at our environment.

All of the works are available to purchase in signed, limited editions. Prices start from £200 plus VAT and framing.

Callooh Callay Bar London bars and nightclubs

Tucked away on a side street in the heart of Shoreditch, Callooh Callay comes "galumphing" into East London's renowned bar scene. Inspired by the nonsensical poem 'Jabberwocky' by Lewis Carroll, Callooh Callay takes its guests on a journey into a fun and eclectic world.
