Goodgate is delighted to welcome Gordon Mackinnon as a full time member to the team. Goodgate recently shot 2 spots, one for @radical.media in the South of France. Gale force winds could not deter the enthusiasm of director Derin Seale, DOP Pascal Marti & the BMW 5M along with flocks of flamingos. We needed a beautifull landscape, a great road right next to the water, hills & loads of flamingos. Not such an easy combination - after searching most of Southern Europe, Goodgate took the shoot to Peryiac close to Narbonne.

Then it was back to base to shoot a Bitburger beer commercial with Big Fish & director Marc J Wilkins at the pool on the 13th floor of the Hotel AC Barcelona. All thanks to the great cast & extras for the amazing spirit - it was cold up there at times! Also thanks to Julia, Gemma & the staff @ the AC.

Dolce Vita is pleased with their successful start of their first season in Argentina. They welcomed several productions over there such as Sony in collaboration with Golden Gun Prod. and photographer Chon Choi, as well as Prince Denmark cigarettes. After that, Mercedes Benz with Florian Geiss. They say that Buenos Aires is definitely coming up as the next wonderful production haven. The Dalí Dimension in the Roma Art Doc Fest.
This international competition is devoted to films and documentaries about art.

The Festival di Palazzo Venezia (Roma Art Doc Fest) has selected the documentary "The Dalí Dimension" to participate in its latest edition, which takes place from 28th May to 5th June in Rome. "The Dalí Dimension", by Joan Úbeda, Susi Marquès and Eli Pons, reveals the strong influence that science had on the life and work of Salvador Dalí.

"The Dalí Dimension" is a Media 3.14 production in collaboration with Televisió de Catalunya, the Fundació Gala-Salvador Dalí, the Institut Ramon Llull and Avro (Holland), with the help of TVE Temáticos, YLE Teema (Finland), RTBF (Belgium) and the support of Institut Català de les Indústries Culturals and MEDIA, the European Union programme

Barcelona Plato attends the Cannes Film Festival and Market
Once again, the city's film commission has taken part in the audiovisual market organised in parallel to the International Cannes Film Festival. Via the Marche International du Film (MIF), Barcelona Plató Film Commission has promoted both the city's most various locations suitable for shoots and the city's wide range of companies linked to the audiovisual industry.
Production companies from USA, London, Germany, Portugal and New Zealand have contacted the film commission's representatives at the Catalan Films & TV stand searching for information and looking for the Barcelona Plató Audiovisual Production Guide.
On the other hand, as in previous editions, the MIF has been an important meeting point for the European film commissions. This time, the film commissions have continued with the talks to constitute a European Film Commission's Network. The proposed network would work to coordinate the tasks of Film Commissions in any European country, region or city, as well as facilitate the shoots for companies of any nationality.

Sergi Jasanada shot a summer fashion editorial with Anna Kronica (Elite) for La Vanguardia's El Magazine with Raquel Costales as make-up artist and Elvira Pla as stylist.

He has made the new, big campaign for Loop Vision with Antoinette (SS&M) and Nacho (Traffic).

With a record 125,000 attendees, Cosmobelleza celebrated this year the 10th edition of the International Beauty Salon and Stereo Rent carried out the complete audiovisual coverage of this important event.

To broadcast this new concept, Stereo Rent prepared six education rooms with audio and video and a video link with two cameras in the main concert hall showing the details of the different exhibitions of well-known aesthetic and hairdressing professionals. In the concert hall, a 10m2 LED screen was also installed, with a 10mm resolution, providing an excellent image, together with a modern audio system called ¨Line Array¨, which provides a high sound quality in large spaces.

Otto came back to the Pitiusas to shoot their teens winter collection, followed by Prémaman from Belgium who created a winter ambience for their next catalogue.
