Mundo Studios: Barcelona full photo production

Mundo Studios ended last year with clients that include brand-leaders Tag Heuer Swiss watches, German fashion catalogues Witt Weiden including well known model Nieves Alvarez (front cover) and Elegance to name just a few.

Mundo Studios enthusiastically began 2005 by welcoming reputable German photographer Peter Keil. Peter and his team chose the trendy roof studio for their latest car shoot and achieved splendid pictures. Wondering which new car brand will appear in ads? Just open your eyes and be surprised this summer.

In Vitro Films S.A: Barcelona feature film production

The shooting of the TV Movie Family Book started on 19th of January. Co-produced by In Vitro Films, TVC and Canal Sur, the screenplay was written by Ricard Figueras and Pau Garsaball, and it is directed by Ricard Figueras, the well-known Catalan producer behind In Vitro Films. This family comedy, starring Antonio de la Torre, Inés Díaz, Lluis Homar and Alberto Lozano, tells the story of Virtu and Ramon, a couple who want to have a child. They’ve been trying without success for quite a while, and Virtu is tired of all the gynaecological tests she’s being put through to determine why they can’t have children.

 

On top of all this, Ramon’s long-lost father, Cándido, suddenly comes back into his son's life. He's just got out of jail and wants to start a questionable business with his son. Things begin to get out of hand and their marriage enters dangerous territory.

 

Barcelona Plató Film Commission: Barcelona feature film production

Barcelona Film Commission - the first step to shooting in the city. In 2004, 402 productions of the 900 or so shoots that took place in Barcelona sought the assistance of the city’s Film Commission; an outstanding number compared to the 118 that were helped in 2000.
Thanks to better coordination and cooperation with other city council departments involved in the authorisations for the shoots, Barcelona Plató Film Commission has increased its activity by 240%, since it started its activity at full efficiency in 2000. In 2004, 35 films were assisted by the Film Commission, as well as 51 documentaries, 100 TV and Video programms, and an outstanding 126 shortfilms, the genre with the highest increase.

Such results confirm not only that the city keeps up with its appeal as a set, but also that the city council structure is strengthening its ability to coordinate the non-commercial filming activity in Barcelona, through the Institut de Cultura (ICUB).

Stereorent: Barcelona event production

Stereorent was charged to carry out the audiovisual coverage of the 13th edition of La Marató of TV3. The 2004 edition was posted to raise funds for the fight against cancer, and it happened to be the biggest money raiser in its history, with 7,436,881 euros. Throughout the whole day the donations could be seen rising up the scoreboard, consisting of a 10mm resolution screen, of 8x2 panels (5.12 metres wide by 1 metre high). A giant 6mm resolution screen of 12 square metres was also installed, showing different videos.

Thanks to the success of the screens, the producers of TV3 bet once again for Stereo Rent, installing three large 6mm resolution screens, two covering more than 20 square metres and another of 14 square metres, creating a modern stage for El Métode Larson. The programme was hosted by the well-known Miquel Calzada, who showed a new method to quit smoking.

Jose Manuel Ferrater: Barcelona advertising photographers

Photographer J.M.Ferrater shot the Larios Calendar 2005 with Bimba Bosé. Ana Blanch did the styling and Estrella Elorduy did hair and make. It was shot at Top Studios.

He has also recently shot 13 high-impact pictures for SEAT Calendar 2005 in a scrap iron factory in Barcelona. Lewis (Servimatge) did hair and make-up and Ana Blanch did the styling.

Two print ads for Peugeot Spain shot by Dimitri Daniloff and an editorial for Elle UK magazine shot by Lee Jenkins, were the jobs that closed 2004 for Simsan.
Fallon, London-based agency, trusted Simsan once again to produce the Citibank campaign with the photographer Bianca Pillet.
2005 started with four underwear catalogues for Ocean, Princesa & Abanderado, shot by Alfonso VQ, who is involved in two covers and trends special editorial for Woman magazine.

Daniel Rull was the hair and make-up artist for the latest C & A campaign (Zurich). He also did Revlon (in Barcelona), Wella (in Munich), as well as editorial and beauty jobs for Mujer 21, La Vanguardia, El Periódico, TELVA, etc.

GROUP MODEL MANAGEMENT: Barcelona fashion models

On 14th December, the Spanish final of the well-known "Ford Supermodel of the World" was held, organised in Spain by Group Models. The winner was Barbara Garcia and she went on to the World Final in New York on 12th January. Although she didn't win, she got a really good response and was highlighted as one of the favourites.
 
Our gorgeous Javier de Miguel has appeared in the new Gucci campaign for the coming Spring-Summer season, which was shot in Los Angeles by Mario Testino. He was shot together with beautiful Poliane. He was also at the Fashion Week in Milano, and run exclusively for Gucci; he also ran for Valentino and Calvin Klein.
 
Vanessa Lorenzo has appeared at the Spanish Vogue Novias, shot by Enric Galcerán.
 
David Guilló is already out at the "T.I.M." campaign in Italy.

Our model Mireia Rojas has appeared as co-star for the European commercial for Pantene.

Our teenager María was booked directly to Paris for Jennyfer catalogue.

SS&M model management: Barcelona fashion models

Amparo, one of Spain's up-and-coming models, appeared in DownTown introducing the new trends of the season through the lens of photographer Richard Ramos.

Telva has entrusted Amina to do the same. Thus, in February's edition we can see the good work carried out by the whole team through the eyes of Josephine Douet.

The redheaded Kiia Waden, also from SS&M, is the star of a dream world created by the photographer Carlos Alsina for the magazine Mujer 21.

Espromot: Barcelona car prep

The end of last year was really busy for Espromot ... We worked for The Lift on the Nissan Micra and Renault Nada TV advert shoot.

October was crazy with Pepsi shooting; Kiko Casanova was the car prep coordinator and precision driver. He's right when he says that it was the biggest shoot of the year!

A new thing we want to show you is the Nissan X-Trail TV advert - it's just fantastic!!! Production company was Widescope.

Moviemach: Barcelona camera/ accessories cinema

Moviemach is renting out twice as many machines this year 2005.

As a result of the increasing demand on the market last year Moviemach has not only doubled the amount of equipment for renting but also developed the new Hot Head equipment.

Participation in the production of films like Hypnosis, February, Vorvik, The Perfect Crime, Sahara etc, is further evidence of Moviemach's success in 2004.
