Cinematographer Max Penzel, member of the Lunik Network, was responsible for the realisation of the moving images and the cutting featured in the D-Movie.

Nikon - so pleased with the outcome - offered Max the chance to create an additional TV commercial including a 3D-animation of the new camera.

Maak Roberts is a photographer specialised in shooting carefully crafted images based on stories or ideas. Working both on location and in the studio, he achieves his high-end, yet uncontrived and tangible look through creative use of lighting, props, set building and retouching. His pictures frequently feature humour or whimsical, everyday situations.

Quick to grasp the creative implications of an idea and organised enough to make it happen, Maak has teamed up with film-maker Mario Stahn to offer clients moving image production as part of his photo shoots, including storyboarding, concept development, editing and grading. Maak is fluent in English, German and French and lives between London and Berlin.

Featured in this Showcase is a selection of new film work for German Hip-Hop pioneer Curse (currently number five in the German Charts), as well as a TV campaign for DMAX and a powerfully emotional video for the band Luxuslärm.

Also featured is pro-bono work for singer and actress Anna F, intimitade pictures of FREIHEIT members giving the agency a new face, and outdoor shots in crazy settings with many new artists, including Talisco and Pitto f.e.

Manuel Krug has been shooting food and people for over 20 years. Based in Berlin, he runs his own studio from where he recently finished two cookbooks - the 'HotSpot' Chinese cuisine and the 'Sudaka' South American cuisine.

For economy magazine Enorm he shot a food story in the style of old Dutch paintings, while Brooklyn-based Culture Cheese Mag gave Manuel the opportunity to take impressive images of German cheese. His style is very urban and natural, always with a little story behind the images.

Berlin-based Darius Ramazani is a well-known freelance photographer with a focus on people, lifestyle and portrait photography. His photo reports, portraits and advertising campaigns have won prizes including the ADC Award, the iF design award, the red dot award and the German Design Award.

Darius recently photographed famous Swiss band Yello and worked for clients including Telekom, Maximo, Brigitte Woman and Werbegemeinschaft des Deutschen Bäckerhandwerks e.v..

At the age of 13, Edzard Piltz started to document his own life and that of his friends with a picked-up plastic point-and-shoot camera. By cultivating some of the spontaneous elements of documentary photography, he has since then developed a distinct and unconventional style of hyper-reality and hard-edged beauty.

Today, Edzard is a highly sought-after creative photographer based in Paris, Berlin and New York. His clients include: Amazon, Coca Cola, Ebay, Levi’s, Lucky Strike, McDonald’s, GM, Reebok, Sony Ericsson and Vodafone.
