Alan Newnham London

Food and drink photographer Alan Newnham shoots from his Clapham studio in South London.

For this Spotlight Alan has put together a series of chocolate images.

Working on a wide range of chocolate products, recent brands this year include Côte d’Or for the European market, the Swedish Marabou range and Fox’s for the UK market. He has also worked on Milka and the McVitie’s Go Ahead range.

Anna Tsaregradskaya Dubai

Anna Tsaregradskaya is a food photographer and stylist currently residing in Dubai, UAE. Her interest in food photography started back in 2005 and today it remains her speciality.

Anna regularly produces photo shoots for restaurants and food manufacturers and contributes images to magazines and digital platforms. Her main passion is her work on cookbooks, where she is in charge of not only photography but also prop styling and occasionally food styling.

Anna has provided photography and stying for nearly a dozen cookbooks and her list of clients includes Hilton, Shangri-La, Rotana Hotels, KitchenAid, Ahmad Tea and PepsiCo.

Brigitte Wegner Bielefeld

Food has been the focus of Brigitte Wegner’s work for more than 20 years. Responding closely to clients’ needs, she makes products shine regardless of whether her brief is for detailed and focused packaging work or an emotive series for editorial purposes.

Brigitte can offer several workspaces from her spacious studio in Bielefeld. A professional kitchen and wide variety of props is also at hand. Backgrounds are all handmade and individual solutions such as hand-dyed table cloths are available. Her clients can settle down in the comfortable conference room and continue their work while following the shoot.

Aside from organising the entire workflow, Brigitte loves to develop new aesthetics for her pictures, whether it is through new ideas for lighting, special props or an unusual perspective. Caroline Petters New York

Originally from Atlanta, Caroline Petters now calls Brooklyn home. She began creating imagery while in school at CU, Boulder but didn't fall in love with the medium until she took a few months to travel around Southeast Asia with her camera as a companion.

Caroline loves the challenge of taking a person, a scenario, a space - and of course food - and capturing it in a way that allows that image to live within an on-going story. She enjoys working closely with clients to create imagery that is at the heart of their brand.

Christian Mushenko Sydney

Christian Mushenko's early enchantment with the natural world led to a sensitivity of the environment around him. A camera gave him a vehicle to illustrate this consciousness. The desire to create and share something of beauty has extended into his career as a photographer, with Christian developing a style rich in feeling and humanity. Food becomes mouth-wateringly appetising, lifestyle images are cinematic and emotive.

Having moved around the globe several times as a kid, he has a wanderlust that fuels an empathy to connect with people and tell their stories. Debby Lewis-Harrison's food photography is skilfully composed and infused with a feminine touch. Her love for experimenting with colour and pattern brings a certain warmth and playfulness to her imagery.

She has a keen eye for detail and a fresh “hands-on” approach to photography. She loves “to start with an empty table top and finish with a beautiful image.” Debby has a growing video portfolio and enjoys translating the look of her stills into motion.

Denny Culbert Lousiana

Denny Culbert tells culinary community stories through his images of chefs, farmers, butchers, pit masters, fishermen, and of course the food. His primary focus lies on the foodways of south Louisiana where he is based. This newspaper photojournalist turned editorial and commercial food photographer brings his love of unique light and the decisive moment into the studio or out in the field for his clients, who range from Tabasco to Southern Living.

Working with partners like the Southern Foodways Alliance and the John Besh Foundation in New Orleans has allowed Denny to build strong relationships throughout the food world and collaborate with some of the best chefs in America. He adapts to any situation and delivers polished images with a unique style for his clients.

Years of travelling to smoky barbecue pits, beautiful farms, and the finest kitchens has allowed for a constant education on the road for this young photographer. He believes in learning something new every day to inform and constantly evolve his photographic voice.

Francesco & Nataly Majo Barcelona

Francesco and Nataly Majo are international food motion and still photographers. The photographic duo are married and work as a team, and both of them recently turned their lenses to motion pictures.

They met in Italy where they both studied at the European Institute of Design in Milan. Francesco studied photography and also later received a degree in Travel Journalism in London. Nataly moved from Colombia to Italy to study art direction and graphic design.

Jon Bader is a renowned food and still life photographer, DP and director working out of his studio in Sydney, Australia.

Maria Greco Naccarato has worked for many years as a food consultant and food stylist, designing recipes and writing articles for food magazines and collaborating with major culinary events.

Myles New is a busy London-based food photographer. Well versed in the art of creating mouth-watering images, he comes from a food background bringing with him an incredible understanding of food and how to photograph it.

Nuno Correia has worked in photography since 1990 but over the last 15 years has become a recognised expert in advertising.

Rob White London

Award-winning photographer Rob White is based in London, "the world’s food capital". After initially training as a chef, Rob retrained as a photographer and over the years has built up a very loyal and wide ranging list of clients who value his creativity, attention to detail and technical ability.

Rob is equally at home shooting to a very tight brief for design or advertising as he is finding a more creative solution for editorial work. He has managed to develop a distinctive photographic style and produces simple, classic, timeless images.

The past year has seen Rob transfer his studio knowledge to moving image, and he was lucky enough to get two short videos into the final voting at the Pink Lady Food Photography awards.

Away from the camera and the studio, Rob can usually be found in some sort of sporting pursuit, or else perfecting his baking skills in his new wood fired oven.
