Etna Productions experienced a bustling 2023; in September, the team attended the 44th Emmy Award ceremony in New York, celebrating their documentary 'Mafialand'. Produced for the investigative channel Vice News and filmed in Sicily in 2022, the documentary garnered three Emmy Award nominations.

Additionally, Etna Productions collaborated with the band Simple Minds, shooting a segment of their documentary 'Simple Minds: Everything Is Possible' in Sicily.
