For more than 10 years, Porsche AG has been relying on Stephan Romer's skills when it comes to shooting its most important new releases and limited special editions. In preparation for the new Carrera 911's world debut at the IAA 2011, Stephan and his team shot all summer, winter, and outdoor catalogue motifs in New Zealand earlier in the year.
Lighthouse Productions NZ supported the production and the result is no less than 46 stunning images. KEKO Frankfurt was the agency responsible, with AD Steffi Assfalg. Many of the locations were conveniently situated at Stephan's own front door in Queenstown - his second home after Düsseldorf. His knowledge of New Zealand's delicacies also ensured both client and team remained in good spirits.
New Zealand-based PacificPostProduction Ltd. was responsible for a CGI series with backdrops from the USA, Australia, Portugal and Thailand. More info can be found on Stephan's homepage.
Simon Taplin has been photographing professionally for the past 18 years.
“I have always been motivated by the present and capturing it meaningfully. As a creative, I see myself in a constant process of exploration. Photography is my choice of medium; experimenting with both new and old technologies has created some of my most appreciated work, and sometimes as the result of happy accident!”
Simon has always been non–conformist with his style and concept of the work he produces whether it be underwater or from the air. Simon gained his pilot’s license in 2008, which has led to his latest creation and ongoing project of perfectly composed and often abstract aerial imagery.
Over recent years he has worked for numerous international agencies and clients, including JWT, Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, BBDO, Corbis, Unilever, P&G, Nokia, Cathay Pacific, Qatar Airways, Singapore Airlines, MasterCard, and Heineken. His industry awards include D&AD, The One Show and Communication Arts, and his work has been published in Archive and PDN.
Over the past decade, Simon has divided much of his time between Asia and Europe, Singapore being an ideal steppingstone to create in both markets. Shooting internationally keeps Simon’s concepts and style fresh as well as visually in-tune with today's global living.

A childhood dream came true for Tom Nagy as he and his team photographed 20 ad motifs for the latest Swiss global advertising campaign. Shooting background scenes in New York, the remaining images were shot in brilliant sunshine at Zurich Airport. The production involved a lot of technical support and logistical help from Swiss crew and airport staff. Post production on both 2D and 3D images was completed by Zoot and Zerone, with production handled by Mel y Mel in Zurich.
Tom also shot an ad for Samsung and a personal series on the Italian coast. He also developed four new motifs for Publicis and the current Zürich Versicherung campaign. Images were shot in Texas, California, Italy and Switzerland. The diplomatic skills of Team Halprin who were supervising the production were put to the test with lighting equipment, crew and numerous talents all packed into the security area of an active refinery.
Tom is now represented by Marlene Ohlsson.
