A prolific artist with a vision informed by his diverse cultural and personal experiences, Gil Lavi's projects range from the deeply political to the sexual conceptual with wide-ranging contemporary references. His current projects include 'Soldiers in White', 'LunaTech', 'Alternative Valentines', 'Hazy Shade of Bride', 'Revival', and 'City of War'.

Gil was born into the world of photography: his father, Moshe Lavi, was mentor for several world-class photographers. By the time he was 16, Gil had become the youngest photographer for Ma'ariv, Israel's top newspaper.

Gil's client list includes fine arts and advertising interests in New York, London, The Czech Republic and Israel. In 2009 he was rated by Forbes as one of the 300 most influential Israelis under the age of 40 and is highly esteemed throughout the Israeli media.

Towards the end of 2009 Gil was hired by the Israeli government to create the photographic concept and produce the imagery for Israel's brand book, a project led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Nute Nicholson wanted to use this Showcase to pay his respects to the late Alexander McQueen:

"He will always stand out as a true visionary. I was attracted to his garments from the very beginning, and at the time there seemed to be a silent connection between his designs and my photographs. I started having stylists pull McQueen's garments at every given chance and it was an inspiration having these wonderful designs on set. Everyone showed complete respect for what he was doing and we were all trying our best to showcase his work. Throughout many seasons I had the opportunity to photograph his work for art-based fashion magazines such as Surface, Tank, I-D, Style, Mind, Scene, and many more. Mindy Saad was born and raised in Canada where she split her time between Montreal and Toronto. After obtaining a degree in Fashion Studies she got her first full time styling job doing window displays. Moving into freelance work, she landed a job with world-renowned director, Floria Sigismondi, shooting a Converse All Star ad for Vogue magazine. With her freelance career allowing her ample time to travel and work abroad, Mindy collaborated with several European publications whilst on a trip to Vienna and styled ad campaigns for Gottex Swimwear and Palmers Lingerie in Israel.

She moved to New York in 1999 and her work has since appeared in such prestigious magazines as Arena, Interview, GQ, Details and In Style. Mindy has also worked with photographers including Norman Jean Roy, Taryn Simon, Antoine Verglas, Leslie Kee, Danny Clinch, Micheal Levine and Rainer Hosch.
