Gonçalo Barriga is a portrait, lifestyle and sports photographer based in sunny Lisbon, Portugal.
His images feature people in the broad sense of the word, with a bias towards athletes and people with an active lifestyle, just like him. The strong and dynamic aesthetics of his photography often shows up in his portraiture and lifestyle work also.

Gonçalo Barriga has been shooting for clients since 2010, specialising in portrait, lifestyle and sports photography.
He believes the key to a successful project is a healthy balance between contributing and receiving, so his ego is left at home, in slippers, watching Netflix.
“My client’s mission always becomes my own, I am happiest when I'm part of something greater than myself."
His studio is in Lisbon, but he often travels for jobs, lighting on location or just using beautiful available light.
Lately, he’s been busy doing a variety of different work, like athlete's portraits and lifestyle images for gyms, promos for sports events, fashion/lifestyle shoots for brands and themed portraits for corporations.
