Three things are synonymous with Jonathan Blackham’s work: the spirit of adventure, exhaustive subject knowledge, and projects executed by a team of intuitive friends.

The son of a miner and an artist, Jonathan experienced a nomadic, creative upbringing, with wide exposure to different cultures and rural environments across Southern Africa. From the windswept beaches of the Skeleton Coast in Namibia to the deep red earth of the Orange Free State in South Africa, adventure was never far away—and the ability to make new friends became a vital skill.

He began documenting the world around him after seeing an exhibition by renowned international conflict photographer James Nachtwey. Today, he works with a broad range of clients, including Heathrow, Dunelm, Haven Holidays, Zoggs, Ritz-Carlton, and more…
