David has been busy producing animated and still imagery of the BMW M8 Competition and showcasing the beautifully designed Ferrari F12 drifting at Willow Springs International Raceway.
David specialises in capturing the true essence, design, and lifestyle of automobiles. Spurring from an influence in fashion and film, David adds creative style through the use of colour, motion, and light. A passionate automotive and motorsports enthusiast, David has worked with the likes of Audi, Maserati, BMW Motorsport, and IndyCar. David and his team are excited to hit the ground running in 2022!

Recent work of David’s includes automotive-lifestyle work shot in Malibu, CA, featuring the Porsche RS America. Contrasting light conveyed elements of story and emotion between the car and the talent while the reflections of sunset accented the red of the car.
Additionally featured is the Audi R8 V10+ photographed at Sebring International Raceway. David captured the car in heroic stature, using surrealism and retro-modern post-production techniques to produce a final series highlighting the bold and beautiful nature of the exotic supercar.

Los Angeles: David Masemore
Recent work of David’s includes editorial work for the Porsche 356 Magazine of Southern California. The photos of this retro-modern take on the classic Porsche 356 design were captured in the Malibu countryside and alongside the Pacific Ocean. Natural light was the focus for this series, which highlighted the details and craftsmanship of the car.
Also featured, is a series highlighting the Lexus NX in St. Petersburg, FL. Diverse focus on the car was the name of the game for this project with each image highlighting a different aspect of the car. The use of talent provided an additional humanistic character to the final images.

Los Angeles: David Masemore
David spent the month of April back at the track working as an official photographer for the IndyCar Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg near his home in Tampa, FL. One of David’s greatest passions is photographing race cars and capturing timeless moments in motorsport. During the weekend, David produced both motorsports and press photography used by numerous IndyCar media outlets.
David also completed an automotive lifestyle personal project showcasing the first-generation Audi R8 with talent dressed in business attire. The project was conducted to show David’s post-processing abilities with the final series being edited in three different post-production styles. Los Angeles: David Masemore
David closed out 2020 highlighting the Subaru Legacy 3.6R in Raleigh, NC. The goal of the campaign was to naturally showcase the vehicle in an urban setting. Faced with a tight deadline and Covid related logistical challenges, David was able to effectively coordinate a small team to produce both images and motion in record time.
Additional images presented in this Spotlight issue include automotive-lifestyle work of the Honda Civic in Long Beach, CA, Tesla Model X in San Diego, CA, IMSA Motorsports highlights from Road Atlanta, BMW M5 in Downtown LA, and a collection of Porsche images utilising different lighting attributes.
