Shooting the Porsche GT-3 in Australia and New Zealand was a great way for Darren and his team to move into the middle part of the year. The awesome acceleration was evident when shooting on the track - from any angle, the machine looks monstrously fast.

Darren then took a road trip up the coast of Western Australia for Toyota Kluger. The length, isolation and ruggedness of WA is quite astounding, while the beauty of the coast is truly stunning. Finding locations to fit the adventurous nature of the Kluger was difficult - not because of scarcity, but through sheer volume of choice.

Once back in the city, the team's next assignment completed was an accessories brochure for the newly revised Nissan Qashqai.

A busy 12 months for Darren Capp and his team saw them shooting a large production for GM Chevrolet India with a cast of the United Nations, comprising CD and agency personnel from Thailand, the client from Singapore, and the local production people in India - not to mention Darren and crew from Australia.

India being the heaving metropolis it is, finding locations that met the brief, relatively free of people as the car was yet to be launched, proved quite a task. In the end private malls and a gated city provided the seclusion needed.

On top of travelling to China a number of times for Honda, there was also a six-shot brief completed for Porsche Cayenne in southern Australia. An accessories brochures for Nissan also saw Darren shooting Pathfinder and X-Trail.

A busy 12 months for Darren Capp and his team saw them flying east from Australia on a number of occasions.

Early days saw them shooting a large production of about 25 images for GM Chevrolet India, complete with a cast straight out of the United Nations comprising CD and agency personnel from Thailand, the client from Singapore and the local production people in India, not to mention Darren and crew from Australia. Over the last 12 months, Darren has shot the newly updated Toyota Prius for Saatchis. Locations used included Sydney Uni, The Botanic Garden’s Seedbank and Maroobra Beach.

The range of Mercedes-Benz commercial vans for Havas was shot in studio with the vans then dropped into locations which were either shot or sourced through the usual channels. Scene projection was used to reflect the locations onto the vans for added realism.

The newly launched Holden Astra was shot for AJF, locations through Melbourne were sourced to reflected a European look.

The expansive and high-tech interior of the new Mercedes-Benz E-Class was shot for Clemengers. The background used was a scene Darren has on file of Shanghai. Honda Civic Black Pack was shot for Leo Burnett Melbourne.
