Chasing a girl and not a career, René Kramers found himself attending the Photo Academy. It was at this place where he found the love of his life, image making.

With his great sense of lighting, René soon stepped behind the lens of a film camera, shooting and directing various commercials and music videos.

Based in The Netherlands, Nick Franken is a Dutch photographer and retoucher who is known and appreciated for his surreal artistic eye. Nick always finds the extraordinary inside the ordinary by visualising the story behind every photo that he captures. "Starting my career 20 years ago as a graphic designer in Israel's leading ad agencies, I've come to understand that I had no aspiration to be on just one side of the creative process. 

Self-taught mostly, I combine my passion for music, aesthetics and cinema as well as human interactions, to distil into dramatic, impactful, and conceptual photos. 

Currently based in Amsterdam, I've been making album covers, advertisements, corporate portraits, automotive and documentary photography around the world - in my studio or on locations.

In the end, it's the impactful image that drives my interest and makes my day. There’s nothing more inspiring for me than to capture people in ways that they don't usually see themselves in. Using creative lighting and a fresh mood, I love sending them on a journey towards another dimension, bringing out some of the most interesting alter egos.

Hans Verleur is a Dutch photographer, a true visual storyteller based in the Amsterdam area. Known for his stills, he has also been shooting video for multiple clients.

His style can be described as cinematographic, with an intuitive approach in which the light tells an important part of the story. He has a great eye for detail and is a real people man whereby collaboration with the subjects is the key to his work.

His assignments range from advertising, editorial, portraits and music. He has also been the photographer of choice for many corporate image bank productions where his storytelling and international production experience come together. His impressive international client list includes Adidas, ABNAMRO, Cisco, Heineken, Orange, Ricoh, TenneT, Vodafone and many more.

Kyla is an Amsterdam-based photographer specialising in still life, lifestyle and product photography. Originally from Calgary, Canada, an itch for change led her to Europe 12 years ago where she fell in love, started a family and chased the career of her dreams.

Now, almost 10 years into her photography career, she recently relocated her fully equipped studio to Amsterdam’s old cattle market in the east of the city. And almost always, her dog Tesla the puggle will join her on set.

From concept, to creation, to retouching, Kyla is a perfectionist and doesn’t let any small details slide by. Her hands-on approach, imagination, and technical expertise breathe life and excitement into her subjects. Every time she steps in her studio she loves to take the ordinary and make it extraordinary.

Thomas van Schaik is an Amsterdam-based studio photographer specialising in still life, product, design and occasionally food. He uses a clean and human approach to make sure the products shine.

Besides shooting for renowned clients such as Philips, JBL, Pokon and Delush Fragrances and many magazines, he likes to create personal work, which has been recognised by the Dutch Photographers Awards.

Although he is predominantly a studio photographer, he likes to shoot on location as well.

''Never work with children or animals'' is what you always hear getting in to photography.

But Amsterdam-based photographer Natasja Noordervliet gets inspired by both subjects and shoots them preferably together. The task to tell a story about these unruled subjects is the challenge she loves to take every time. It takes patience, humour and a fast work style but when it all pans out its gives her the greatest feeling and some great pictures.

She works for brands such as Claesens and Frankie, Liberty and for kids magazines Kek Mama Magazine and Viva Mama.

She would love to work for some international brands and or magazines.
