Barry Makariou Photography + Film

With over 20 years' experience, Barry Makariou put this to good use while directing a crew of over 25 for Ararat Brandy global advertising campaign. Barry worked closely with Ball Park Production and TBWA Moscow to help create the set design and prop build.
While shooting, he also found time to create a series of behind the scenes films that offer an insight into how everything was created.
For the 4th year in a row, Barry was asked to create six front cover concepts for Men's Health for which he decided to use CGI for the neon light backdrop and collaborated with Vibe Studio through the whole process.

His feature on a town frozen in time in China has recently been published in Lonely Planet Traveller magazine, as have a words-and-pictures spread from Tibet in Sidetracked magazine, and a picture essay from China in The Guardian newspaper.

Warren Ryley has been working in advertising and commercial photography for over 30 years. His wealth of experience now serves him well in the field of beverage photography, which he has been specialising in for the past 10 years, shooting campaigns for numerous international brands and agencies.
He is equally at home working from his central London studio or out on location, and combines his creative lighting techniques with his knowledge of post-production to plan complex shoots from start to finish.
His approach is both professional and relaxed and enables him to problem solve and adapt without fuss during shoots. Being able to retouch his own work gives clients the added benefit of a complete one-stop personal service from planning to final delivery of the finished imagery.
Warren has shot in the last six months for Smirnoff, Courvoisier, Passport Scotch, Patron Tequila and Teisseire.
