In a field where automotive photography often feels predictable, Anatol Gottfried takes the scenic detour. Splitting his time between Berlin, Barcelona, and Cape Town, he approaches each project as a storyteller—capturing not just machines, but the emotions, places, and personalities that bring them to life.
His latest series brings this vision to the Côte d’Azur, where the Alpine A290 GT, crowned Car of the Year 2025, steals the spotlight along the sunlit coastline. More than a showcase of design and engineering, the series becomes a dialogue between car and character—anchored by the presence of Nick Harwart, whose energy amplifies the playful spirit of this expressive French beast—further seamlessly executed in post-production by POP.Studios.

"On a remote plateau in China lives a magical man who builds even more magical kites. So, to shoot a campaign for the Land Rover Discovery Sport, I put him at the heart of a magical story. A young boy wants a magical kite, so he and his father head to China to scale the plateau and find the master.
The boy is now grown up and a father himself. He wants to give his own son the same incredible adventure. At the stroke of dawn, they leave the city and head off to find the kite maker again.
And there he is. Still on the plateau. And at the peak of his craft.
A storytelling project with scores of stories in one. People, travel, mystery, unknown cultures and a car journey of a lifetime.

Jeff Ludes is on a roll with Gybow! Let’s start with the demo video he produced, showing the entire process, start to finish. Jeff and Arne Weiss, the inventor of the Gybow, break down the steps, and produce a few cool shots with a RAM truck. The system works by enveloping the entire car in a perfect bubble of light and reflection, like bringing the location inside the studio- a true game-changer!
Next, Jeff got to prove what an amazingly flexible tool the Gybow is, on an international production. The entire system was packed into cases, and flown down to Mexico City with the Gybow crew. After Jeff and team spent two days shooting backplates and HDRI domes around the city, they moved into a secure studio to shoot the top-secret new Chevrolet Spark with Gybow for four days.
Back in the US, Jeff’s next project was for Toyota, and their all-new (and also top-secret) RAV4. The team first headed to the SF Bay Area, covering a wide variety of locations over six days, before heading back to LA for another six days in studio with Gybow and vehicles. As you can see, the system also works great for interior shots, even with talent.
Olgun Kordal is a London-based automotive photographer and visual artist, known for his emotionally driven and design-focused approach to high-end car imagery.
With over a decade of experience, he has created standout commercial work for brands including McLaren, Bentley, Porsche, BMW, and collaborated editorially with Top Gear—most recently shooting the highly anticipated Ferrari F80 for a cover feature.
In parallel to his commercial work, Olgun maintains an independent visual art practice that informs his creative sensibility. His recent collaboration with Aston Martin explored the brand from a more conceptual, expressive perspective—highlighting his ability to engage with automotive design beyond traditional storytelling.
While his photography and art remain distinct disciplines, it’s this dual perspective that gives his work a unique edge. Known for his calm, collaborative process and consistently elevated visual output, Olgun brings both creative originality and production reliability to agencies and brands seeking distinctive automotive content.

Sergei Zjuganov is an automotive photographer with two decades of experience creating bold, cinematic visuals that make cars feel alive. His recent projects include the Nissan Magnite campaign and two major Toyota productions in Saudi Arabia, alongside work for ABB, BYD and a major transportation company — proof that he moves with ease between large-scale international shoots and finely tuned domestic productions.
Beyond the commercial world, Sergei is currently developing a personal documentary film project, bringing a fresh creative lens into everything he does.
