Sydney-based food and drink photographer Andy Lewis brings a refined eye and an instinctive understanding of light, texture, and appetite appeal to every project. With a food and drink photography portfolio spanning commercial, editorial and campaign work, Andy crafts images that are as strategically compelling as they are visually stunning.
Andy was based in Queensland throughout 2024–2025, flying back and forth from his Sydney studio. It was during this time that he took on the prestigious role of sole photographer for Chefs Eat Brisbane, a landmark cookbook celebrating Brisbane's dynamic culinary scene, which has just hit the shelves.
Now back in Sydney full time, Andy is shooting FMCG packaging, advertising, editorial and social media projects for Lilydale, Steggles, Goodman Fielder, Costco, Chef Good and Allied Pinnacle. He welcomes new briefs and would love to hear from you.
Barry Makariou has been busy shooting a global rebrand for GU desserts. "We shot over 30 products over 10 days, as well as motion. We captured every detail in super macro, driving taste appeal across all the packaging."
He also shot for Nescafe Cold: "We created a bespoke swirl to capture the refreshing movement within the glass."
AI is also starting to feature in his work, using it to elevate existing assets that were previously only KVs for brands but now have been brought to life. Take a look opposite at this animated Milka asset.

This Taco Bell x ESPN campaign was a Baja Blast in the best way. Cass stepped in as second unit director and DP, creating alongside director Nolan Goff and DP Sean Conte of SixTwentySix Studio.
Cass shot stills, directed some fun B-side moments, and captured second-camera video to help bring the project’s mixed-media energy to life. And yes, got wild with the 3D Nishika film camera.

As well as photos, she also creates short video clips. Ela is convinced that AI-based work and traditional photography are not mutually exclusive, but will coexist in the long term. At the moment, it is important to clearly indicate which images are AI-generated and which are not.

Ela’s clients appreciate her constructive and creative approach, which is why some have been working with her for years. Horton-Stephens are London's leading photographers' agents. They've produced over 10,000 shoots over more years than they dare to admit to, and food & drink has been in the agency's DNA from the very start.
"We offer a full end-to-end production service, and we’re often brought in right at the start of a project, helping to shape ideas and approach, from day one. Budgets, logistics, locations, casting, styling—we know how to make it all work smoothly, creatively, and without drama, on time and on budget. From lean, stripped-back stills to full-scale TVCs, we've produced just about everything.
We attribute our long history in the industry as our desire to be forward-looking and AI is now a big part of our offering. We’re especially excited about the hybrid use of AI with photography and had great success recently with the UK Government's Cyber Security campaign, where we coordinated a collaboration between photographer George Logan and AI artist Alys Thomas."
"Food & drink have been photographed thousands of times, by thousands of people. How do you stand out? By combining the uniqueness of the food or the brand with an awareness of current aesthetic trends, a technical expert, a meticulous art director, and a positive creative who will actually listen to what you want. That person is me.
I approach shooting food & drink with a lightness that keeps the final imagery feeling fresh (...excuse the pun). Add a sprinkling of colour and style with a dash of humour, and you will have images that stand out from the crowd."

Krzysztof Czernecki, though you might know him by his professional name, Christopher Photography, is a London-based photographer with a real knack for making drinks look incredible. He’s got this unique way of capturing liquids: you see every detail, every bit of energy, like the drink’s about to leap right off the page.
He’s not just pressing the shutter and hoping for the best. He brings serious technical skill to the table, mixing creative vision with that scientific curiosity you need for great stills and motion work. If you’re a beverage brand looking to stand out, he’s the guy who’ll give you bold, high-impact images that turn heads.
Krzysztof doesn’t just photograph drinks he practically choreographs them. He plays with lighting and experiments with fluid dynamics, always finding new ways to show off texture, movement, and character you’d probably miss in real life.
There’s a sense of drama in his work, whether it’s a split-second splash frozen in time or a slow-motion pour that feels almost hypnotic. He’s always pushing for that extra detail the stuff you can’t spot unless you slow the world down. All this hasn’t gone unnoticed.
