On the subject of the Corona Crisis, Christoph produced the haunting and atmospheric film #NOTthesameprocedure for Edelhof1514 during the shutdown, quite spontaneously and with a small team. Based on the commonly known film "Dinner for One", the story about the topic of how to keep in touch with the elderly during the Corona crisis and how it can be alleviated with the help of modern technology was created. All necessary and required hygiene rules were strictly adhered to.

In sunny Cape Town, Christoph realised in his usual authentic lifestyle style, at the beginning of the year, a cheerful, atmospheric story entitled "Rooftop Party". A refreshing drink - the South African cider "Hunters" was presented in a colourful and atmospheric way with a lot of zest for life. The story shows the carefree life in South Africa, which we hope to experience again soon.

Thanks to his interest in people, Christoph Siegert can connect with you very quickly. This gift helps him immensely with the implementation of his projects in the field of film and photo, which he has recently been able to realise through stories that are told in beautiful atmospheric images.

Christoph produced an image film for the advertising agency, 2do Marketing Services. In Christoph's characteristically atmospheric and warm tones, he humorously stages the different facets of how advertising agencies work. A nice challenge in this case was his directorial work with only children as actors, which he mastered with flying colours! But you should see for yourself.

Christoph photographed and directed for the hearing aid manufacturer Optimus Schmelzer. With “storytelling at its best”, the “Excellent Day” commercial shows that small and inconspicuous hearing aids can do much more than just make sounds louder. Christoph proves here with sensitive instructions that even silent punch lines can carry a film.

The agency modus werbung, Hamburg, commissioned Christoph with the realisation of a photo campaign and two accompanying films for their client W. L. Gore & Associates GmbH (GORE-TEX). Work clothing with arc protection should be presented authentically and in a real work environment. The challenge was to present an ordinary work situation in an extraordinary way. In addition, very similar imagery and looks had to be designed for film and photo motifs to establish a consistent campaign look. In his dual function as photographer and director, Christoph is at home with both types of media and was, therefore, able to implement these tasks for the GORE® PYRAD® clothing in a targeted manner.

Christoph made two atmospheric lifestyle films for his client Witt-Weiden. The umbrella campaign "Fashion that likes me" is developed and managed by the Communicators agency. In the two films, Christoph shows once again that as a director he can motivate his actors, even in a tight period of 20 seconds. The films portray happy, almost high-spirited women who enjoy life, thanks to the well-being fashion from Witt-Weiden. Corresponding to the shoot, Christoph also photographed the campaign image therefore could ensure that the entire campaign had the same aesthetic style.

To make sure that wild, horticultural greenery can grow together even more closely in Hamburg, the Departement for Environment and Energy (BUE) has set itself the goal of creating more biodiversity in parks and nature reserves as well as more recreational value for people. Featured in this Showcase are combined videos and pictures highlighting the sustainable projects for Kitechild and Loki Schmidt Foundation.

As a photographer and film designer, it is important for Christoph Siegert to offer an imagery from one source.

Kitechild, a NGO from Los Angeles, has developed projects within several orphanages in Kenya. Christoph Siegert’s visual language highlights the emotional aspects and the positive impact on the children in several photo motifs and a film. The film has won a Silver Finalist Award at the International Deauville Green Awards this year. Among 370 film entries the jury chose the film, 'Kitechild - Kenya', as one of the winners in the 'Social Responsibility' category.

For the Loki Schmidt Foundation Christoph created image motifs that, with an emotional approach and concentration on the people in nature, aroused the interest of the viewers for the foundation. This is followed by the image film of the foundation, which is committed to the preservation of rare plants and animals throughout Germany.

The personal and emotional view of customers on "their" Fleischgrossmarkt Hamburg form the leitmotif for the image film about the Hamburg Meat Market. There are surprising views of Europe's largest meat trade centre after Les Halles in Paris. Full of detail and filmed in an authentic DSLR style, Christoph Siegert gives the viewer an inner regard of this microcosm, which works 24 hours, 365 days a year in the heart of Hamburg.

Edelhof received two awards for the image film 'Edelhof1514' at the Deauville Green Awards 2015: The Gold Award as 'Best Film' in the category 'Agriculture and Sustainable Management', as well as the main prize 'EcoProd' for the most environmentally friendly production of the festival.

Christoph photographed and filmed for Postbank's unusual, attention-grabbing employee campaign. The films are now available online: featured in this Spotlight is the exclusive directors cut.

For the introduction of Volkswagen Genuine Oil, Christoph Siegert photographed satisfied drivers who count on obtaining full power and the highest quality via their commercial vehicles thanks to their choice of engine oil.

"Edelhof - the name sounds like a fairy tale, but the true story is almost more beautiful. In the rural landscape at the edge of the Harz is this listed manor house, a half-timbered building dating from 1514. The estate has been family-owned for four generations. The Edelhof includes a courtyard garden and idyllic orchards within surrounding nature reserves. There grow such wonderful old varieties as Schöner von Nordhausen, Laxton Superb and peach red summer apples. Together with friends and like-minded people, as part-time farmers we have devoted ourselves for a number of years to these old trees and to the tasty variety of their fruit, making the Edelbrand distillates, fruit jellies, Chutneys and juice from genuine local fruit varieties."

On the occasion of the International POS campaign of Nivea Sun and FCB, Hamburg Christoph and his team turned to sunny Portugal. Evocative images produced on the beach south of Lisbon entice the viewer to spend more time with family and of course, care more for sun kissed skin.

For Loki Schmidt Foundation, Christoph Siegert photographed visually arresting motifs for the current image campaign. The motifs are designed to stimulate an emotional appeal and focus on the people in nature as well as the interest of the viewer for the Loki Schmidt Foundation. The Foundation was established by the wife of the former, recently deceased Chancellor of the Federal Republic Helmut Schmidt. The aim of the Foundation is to preserve rare plants and the unique nature throughout Germany.

The Fruit Vendors are Christoph's contribution to the current BFF (Bund freelance photographer and film designers Germany) exhibition in Berlin entitled "Reduction." Each summer draws to an end at some point - in contrast to the barbecue season! Colder temperatures make a hot grate even more tempting, therefore for BEEF! Christoph Siegert photographed and filmed for an eye-catchingly unusual employer campaign from Postbank. Weigertpirouzwolf (WPW) from Hamburg were responsible for implementing the campaign, while Christoph relied on a gallery of young talents who do not conform to the usual stereotypes of the typical banker - instead they were as normal and complex as Postbank customers themselves.

Christoph also recently shot images for the Orlen Group, specifically in and around the Star cafes in petrol stations. These sunny, friendly locations were shown in a number of different aspects and were used as part of the company’s Web presence. Ad agency BBS and online agency deep blue accompanied the process.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of some of its municipal parks, the City of Hamburg held various events and launched a photo competition. Christoph was commisioned to take shots advertising these events and exploring the boundaries between green spaces and city life. He was also a member of the jury in conjunction with the Hamburg Office for the Environment and City Planning.

Being on the road this summer for Orlen, Christoph photographed petrol stations all over Germany. Finally, he filmed the star team at Vattenfall Cyclassics featuring both the company's national and international CEOs.
