Germany-based photographer, director, and content creator David Maurer goes full electric and starts a silent revolution collaborating with motorbike manufacturer Cake in his latest action-packed video, filmed in the quarry and the forests. Cake's off-road motorbike Kalk is light, quiet, and clean. As you watch, you'll hear nothing.

Recently David showcased the all-electric two-seater Opel Rocks-e in an editorial series of images and a vibrant video celebrating an emission-free party for two.

Germany-based photographer, director and content creator David Maurer sets the world in motion. His photographic signature encapsulates fleeting moments—be it the velocity of a racing car or a human encounter.

Recently David was commissioned to photograph Škoda’s brand-new Monte Carlo variants. For Škoda Monte Carlo are not only two words, but one of the world’s most prestigious and challenging motor sports events and 111 years of heritage. With its Monte Carlo models Škoda recalls the brand’s numerous successes at the legendary rally and brings its sporty lifestyle variants from the racetrack to the road.

In a series of images taken in South Tyrol, David breathes life into a legend, which with its 12-cylinder engine is considered the racing car of the century, a stroke of genius in engine design: the Porsche 917.

Germany-based photographer, director and content creator David Maurer has been busy during the last months. In March, David finished one of his photo-productions in snowy Austrian mountains already under the impression of the upcoming pandemic. Since then David has not only been concluding assorted projects but also been planning ahead for upcoming assignments.

Apart from that David was commissioned to photograph Porsche’s brand-new Macan, Macan Turbo, and Macan GTS. With a luminous red GTS he tells the story of a couple on their weekend getaway. BMW entrusted David with putting their limited-edition model M2 Clubsport in the best light.

His latest projects for KIA, Škoda and other clients will be published soon. Additionally some personal projects about Porsche enthusiasts in Germany and an athletic fitness series will be publicised in the forthcoming weeks.

"COVID19 has had a dramatic impact on our lives and the whole industry," acknowledges David Maurer, German-based photographer. "So I decided early on to get ready for a re-start. It is more important than ever, to be prepared for safe and sound productions. Always aiming to exceed expectations."

In 2008, Germany-based photographer David Maurer established his business as a transportation, people, architecture and landscape photographer. He has since been commissioned by an ever-growing number of clients around the globe.

For one of his recent assignments, David shot the brand-new KIA ProCeed campaign in vivid nocturnal urban areas.

Commissioned by Porsche AG, he photographed the worldwide campaign for the highly anticipated new Porsche Macan in Beijing, Los Angeles and Cape Town.

For Nissan David shot the sixth generation of their all-new Nissan Altima. Time and again he’s drawn back to the racetrack, covering race action for clients such as AMG Racing or Falken Tyre.

Other clients include Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Škoda, Mazda, Pfizer, Opel, Leica, Iveco Magirus and many more.

David Maurer is a Germany-based photographer who learned photography from scratch. After his apprenticeship and having assisted various reknowned photographers worldwide, he joined the crew of a cruise vessel for eight months to explore the world, travelling to the north polar region, Antarctica and South America.

In 2008, David established his own business as a transportation, people, architecture and landscape photographer working for a continuously growing number of worldwide clients. For Daimler he photographed the latest Mercedes-Benz E-Class worldwide campaign. Commissioned by Porsche, he shot the strikingly colourful campaign for the Macan GTS. Other clients include BMW, Skoda, Pfizer, Falken Tyre, AMG, Opel, Leica, Iveco Magirus and many more.

Besides his commercial work, David searches for unusual perspectives and projects. He recently looked behind the scenes of a 24-hour race at Germany‘s "Green Hell" (Nürburgring), caught world-class ski-jumpers in unguarded moments, and documented Germany‘s air rescue service in action.
