"My photography is about simple, real emotion and direct photography with a little lifestyle flavour. I currently work for different fashion brands and magazines.
In this corona period me and my clients had to find many creative solutions. For example, smaller teams and keeping things safe for everybody.
One series I did was with FaceTime from home and with an actress who was also at home. It will be in the next issue of the Kek Mama June issue Netherlands.
For the upcoming months I’m preparing a couple of new projects, one of them is more towards directing/ filming. I shall be doing some very short movie clips. It’s all about children and their playful minds.
For info or bookings, let’s have a chat.
Hope you and your family are all safe and healthy, and you all can continue to be lucky."

"Photography is more or less like ballet, the simpler it seems to be the more difficult it often is. I myself very much like ballet, and I am a huge fan of “keep it simple”. How cool is it that you can somehow stir emotions in someone: emotions can be equivalent to erogenous zones; giving the person a feeling of comfort and pleasure.
The avocado shot, which I did for a beauty brand, is as simple as the pasta shot with the fork, shot for a big supermarket in the Netherlands.
For SPA sparkling water, the photo is closer to an illustration - in all its complexity it is still simple and clean. That’s how I like it.
“Butter next to the fish” as we say in Dutch. It is similar to the American expression “Cash on the barrel”. I think I need to say no more.
At the moment I am working on some very interesting projects, which I hope I can show you in the next issue. In the meantime remember that I love to think along with you and my fees are always based on the project.
See you soon!
Johan." -

"These series of images, shot through the years, reflect the joy and beauty of being human. They serve as a reminder, a promise if you will, that we all aspire to recover and rejoice over what makes us human.
To assemble and connect together as families, friends and communities when this is all over.
I seek to make my work land and last, beyond that initial millisecond, to hold the attention, to ask questions and to trigger hope and desire.
With the use of mood lighting and toning, cinematic framing and composition, I want my work to elevate the subject with a curated production value."

Johan Visschedijk
Amsterdam
Johan Visschedijk started working in the early nineties, loving food and everything along with it, he also started working in film a few years ago.
In a nutshell we can say that Johan is a guy who is really passionate about everything he does; photography, film, CGI and his big hobby ultra-running. So we can truly say that Johan is not a quitter.
When Johan says yes to a project he is very eager to get it to a high level, no matter what it takes. Once the financial issues are agreed, Johan is lost in creativity, light, composition and everything else.
Last year he was asked to shoot for a book about 35 Michelin star restaurants, some of the results you can see here. One of these restaurants asked him to make some wall decoration involving game dishes.
