Jonathan Barkat
New York
Jonathan Barkat grew up along the shore in Cape May at the southern tip of New Jersey. Many moments were spent watching as the light moved across the ocean, dunes, and wetlands as well as amusement piers, beach hotels, boardwalks, and seaside attractions. The atmosphere and mood of the area played a large part in shaping how he sees the world and continued to be an influence as he turned the camera to the people around him. Though he started taking photographs in high school, he spent the first part of college focusing on painting and drawing before turning again to photography. This background, along with his love of evocative light, informs his work and approach to image making.
Jonathan has always been drawn to portraiture. From studio shots with carefully considered lighting to environmental portraits that evoke a sense of time and place, his approach pairs his lighting skills and understanding with a desire to create thoughtful portraits with emotional impact.
Jonathan works with advertising, book publishing, and editorial clients, and has been recognized by Communication Arts, Photo District News, The Society of Publication Designers, and the International Photography Awards. He thoroughly enjoys the collaborative process and working with a wide range of clients to bring his visual voice to an assignment. In addition to commissioned work he spends as much time as possible shooting personal images.
When not shooting or working out new productions with clients, he can often be found riding around his local mountain bike trails. And if you ever want to come along he’s pretty sure he knows where to find an extra bike.

Hero Production Iceland
Location service & scouts
"Summer is here in Iceland with open borders for filmmakers thanks to the actions and responses of Iceland’s director of health. They seem to be working beyond our greatest hopes giving us a reason to be cautiously optimistic from this point on.
Due to the foreign travel restrictions to Iceland, the whole country is now literally empty and offers a unique opportunity, even more so than normal and that’s saying something. The biggest tourist attractions and hotspots are now free of all human interference in pristine surroundings.
Hero has access to state of the art camera equipment that can be utilised by local crews capturing scenes and landscapes never thought possible in complete safety and according to all government containment rules and health regulations.
We are allowing social groups up to 50 people. Studios and production houses now need to embrace a new reality in times of an opponent facing all mankind. This reality enforces a new set of rules on the production industry to ensure safety for all individuals.
We at Hero use those rules as an opportunity to exercise our creativity in film, TV and ad productions focusing on new solutions to drive safe content creation in Iceland.
Using restrictions as an innovative force is our forté and the current situation is no exception."

Adrian T. Baird
Phoenix
Adrian T. Baird is a commercial photographer based out of Phoenix, Arizona. He specialises in people, corporate and industrial photography with a focus on using real people in their day to day work environment. The current work being shown here is a variety of examples from a few local and national companies taken last year for ads, web, billboard, profiles and cover shoots.
Recently, Adrian has been working with healthcare companies to show the effects of working during the Covid crisis as well as document the testing procedure. His most recent project involved working with a nurse and pharmacist while administering drive-through touchless testing. It was an interesting shoot, as all social distancing and PPE guidelines had to be followed by all cast, crew and extras and the photography took place in an active testing site. There was difficulty working in PPE and conveying a range of emotions while photographing a subject in a mask but it was ultimately very successful!
Client list includes: SimpliSafe, Financial Times, Independent Agent, Uber, Zenefits, Genie, Draft Kings, Messer, Georgia-Pacific, CRST, and Vermeer just to name a few.

Hugh Peachey
Australia
Hugh Peachey is a highly-awarded photographer and director with over 15 years' experience in the advertising industry, in both photography and video. Hugh has worked as an international photographer with some of the biggest clients from around the globe including Nike, Adidas, The Australian Navy, AFL, Swisse, Tennis Australia and Cottee’s to mention a few. Amongst the many awards Hugh has achieved over the years, he has also been selected by Lurzer’s Archive on three occasions for the Top 200 photographers worldwide.
Hugh is always in search of something else, a hidden truth, an inner light, a beauty nestled beneath the surface. Hugh is able to engage and grab a quality others can’t necessarily, which often means he can get a bit closer to someone’s inner truth and hopefully their X-Factor. Hugh is spurred by the challenge of photographing people and conceptual advertising ideas that challenge the mundane and which in turn present a wry, contrary or even comedic aspect to his work.
Hugh is fortunate to own his own Melbourne studio which has meant he can continue to shoot in these unprecedented times during the Covid pandemic. Continually searching for new safe ways to conduct a shoot, Hugh decided to incorporate live streaming for clients unable to attend a recent AAMI brand campaign. This innovative set up meant they could experience the shoot and watch the images as they come up as they are being shot from anywhere in the world, which was equally beneficial for the creative team as well as the clients, as they could promptly give feedback during the shoot without being on set.
