    "It’s been a funky year with so much variation to work, it’s been fun to stretch my lighting muscles with a variety of styles. Working with some fun briefs for Sainsburys, The Telegraph, M&S, Goodfood and some new brands, such as Herbalistas, an exciting new herbal tea range - to name a few.  I've also directed a couple of TV commercials for Asda and Christmas campaigns for Lidl. What a rollercoaster of a year it’s been over the last 12 months!

    Coupled with opening a new studio and location in Dorset and London, it's been a little crazy.

    Always excited by new briefs and challenges after 20 plus years I'm still super excited for every job.

    "There has been a lot going on this year, with big changes to my work and studios along with changes in representation - streamlining and adjusting to new ways of working as the industry shifts and changes post covid.

    So here is some recent work that has been as always a pleasure and honour to work on. From some TV commercials for Asda that went out in October, to some cocktails for M&S, launching their new drinks branding.

    I have dipped my toe into the world of Ty-Phoo Tea, worked on some social films for Tesco and, as always, a few bits for editorial clients.

    It has been a funny year for many in the industry, but it is always fun in the studio. With a new studio opening In Dorset, as well as the two I have in London, the future is exciting - always excited by new clients and working on new projects.     "Hi, I'm Myles New. I am a food photographer and film director. A London-based creative working on worldwide commissions. My focus is on food in both film and stills.

    I love working with other creatives, working on the look of a brand and where to take it creatively. Testing and playing with lighting and subject are very close to my heart.

    As another crazy year comes to a close, Myles has been looking back at some of the amazing shoots and clients he has been working with - shooting for Nesspresso, McDonald's, Tesco, Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, to name a few, he has been very busy.

    The shoots this year have been complicated and diverse, using multiple sets to create Tesco's Christmas campaign to McDonald's ATL, in and out of home imagery, making sure the visual experience floats smoothly between these worlds and multiple agencies.

    Myles has got himself a reputation for making shoots work so that they can be layered and crafted to suit multiple needs. Along with his own testing and playful approach to his work, he thrives in lighting and complex shoots.

    Always looking for new lighting and equipment, he looks for ways to make shoots work in the challenging constraints of modern photography needs.
