Specialising in food and drink photography for over 20 years, across various fashions and styles, Sue’s love of detail has led her increasingly to concentrate on close up and macro work where her fascination with the colours and textures of the organic properties of her subjects is exploited through sensitive use of studio lighting.
From ice cream to pizzas, coffee to chocolate, caramel splashes to frothy beer, Sue’s extensive experience and love of a challenge means you and your clients can feel confident they are in safe hands.
Recent projects have included work for Batchelor’s, Bifi, Bisto, Mr Kipling, Paxo, Tesco, McDonald’s, Warburton’s, and Sue is currently thoroughly enjoying shooting a series of cookery books to be published in 2022.

Throughout her 20+ years photographing food and drink, Sue’s love of organic form has become increasingly evident in the sensitive lighting and attention to detail she brings to her work for clients such as Coke, Danone, Godiva, McDonald’s, McVitie’s, Schweppes and Warburton’s.
Capturing the essence of her subjects with mouth-watering realism, frequently in extreme close-up, her work is equally concerned with timing and freezing movement at the decisive moment which brings the still image to life.
Sue is happy to work with clients and remotely. After a shoot during lock-down her assistant, Bea, emailed: “I think the shoot went really well considering everything and that nobody is used to this kind of shoot. You were, as always, very calm and did an amazing job. You do know exactly what to do to make things look beautiful - it amazes me every time.”
