  Jan Kalish is an international, award-winning Toronto-based photographer specialising in food and drink, with experience shooting at home as well as abroad.

  She shoots food and drink, both commercial and advertising, including design, advertising, editorial, social media and cookbooks in Canada, South Africa, EU and the United Kingdom.

  Her years of photographic food and drink experience reflects her specialist knowledge in masterful lighting and timely visual problem solving skills. She creates photographic images that are simultaneously artistic and practical - a client-fulfilled narrative within an image.

  She works in the studio or on location: providing meticulous attention to all client considerations. Photographic concepts are handled from design to completion by in-house teams, assuring integrated quality control throughout production and post-production services.

  Jan Kalish Photography   Still Life, Food & Drink Photographers

  Jan Kalish received the Gold Award from Graphis.com and is ranked as the number one Fine Art Photographer, in Canada. She has also been voted as one of the top ten Fine Art Photographers in the world by the One Eyeland Awards 2019.

  She is currently based in Toronto but regularly travels to shoot in the United Kingdom and Italy.

  She works in studio or on location with a brilliant team applying meticulous attention to all client creative steps; supporting projects from start to finish. Services include concept design, styling, shooting and meticulous in-house post-production services. 

  Recent projects include food shoots, SS20 fabric shots for Frascara Designs and splash photography for an extensive London perfume-house campaign; creating imagery for both men and women’s aspirational fragrances. Images are displayed throughout the UK and London on buses, taxis and Underground stations.
