Specialising in lifestyle, adventure and tourism photography, Tyler Jacobsen’s eye for photographic composition is a direct extension of his knowledge and expertise in visual art.

Tyler found and perfected his craft by photographing people early on. Creative shots infused with passion and knowledge of his subject matter have attracted the attention of clients including Columbia Sportswear, Texas Tourism, Apple, The Wagner Family Wines (Caymus, Mer Soleil, Belle Glos, Conundrum), Electronic Data Systems, Reliant Energy, Thomson Reuters, PETA, Dilumnia Health Island, Leap Frog, and Palo Alto Medical Foundation.

The recipient of multiple APA awards and PDN Outdoor awards, Tyler has been consistently recognised for his ability to capture some of nature’s most elusive and private moments. As a former pupil and assistant of commercial photographer Jim Erickson, Tyler gleaned a wealth of experience in capturing life’s serendipitous moments, managing a crew, and perfecting the art and science of the business of photography.

When not travelling on location throughout the US, Europe, Asia, or South America for work, he has operational bases in both Salt Lake City and San Francisco.
