Thomas Kruesselmann shoots beauty, hair, fashion and lifestyle photography for international clients and agencies, including BBDO, Euro RSCG, Grey Worldwide and Ogilvy & Mather. He has also photographed celebrities such as Claudia Schiffer.
His signature-style can be described as minimalist with very high attention to detail: images which are carefully crafted, sometimes iconic, sometimes stylish, but always convincing as 'real' moments. Thomas directs his in-house retouching artist in the same way: "I am a photographer - please don't make it look like a painting!"
Featured in this Spotlight is recent advertising and editorial work shot in Europe and the United States. Thomas is currently working on a social advertising campaign involving German celebrities and athletes. His blog, online since march 2009, has been attracting a lot of attention.
